On a cold winter day in February 2007 I decided to fulfill the American
Dream and create my own company. I wanted to offer a service to
individuals and corporations that allowed me to work directly with
my clients – not over the telephone or on the Web.
So, at the ripe old age of 55 I made a giant leap and formed My Friend
Martha. My husband, Bob, named the company and spent many
hours researching other companies that offered similar services.
I am originally from Georgia and slowly kept moving northward, by
way of Macon, Ga and Clemson SC, until I arrived in Hendersonville
in 1999. We had visited the area numerous times over the years and
decided to move here and begin a new chapter in our lives.
I am definitely a “people person” and knew when forming my
company this area of service would be a crucial element. I gain a
sense of accomplishment when I help someone perform a task that
brings them joy and/or a bit of stress relief. We all can use an extra
pair of hands from time to time and that is another element to my
service goals. I offer a variety of services to benefit a wide array of
people as we are all individuals and each of our needs are as
individual and special as we each are.
My Friend Martha is a company dedicated to treating each person as
the individual they are and customizing the services to make their life
easier and even a little less stressful. I customize my services to
